The Jesus Story, presents Jesus as our Savior, and Jesus in Me, presents Jesus as LIFE, His Life.

The truth presented in this book is that Jesus died not only to pay for our sins, but He rose from the dead to give us His Life. This is the abundant life that He speaks of in John 10:10. We cannot live the Christian life in our own strength,but Jesus desires to live that Life through us (in the form of The Holy Spirit). One analogy (which is not perfect) is that we are like an empty glove, unable to move or serve any purpose without Him. When we allow Jesus to come into us, the glove, He gives it Life and it is able to function normally.
